Requirements / Qualifications / Task :

  • Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions.
  • Develop state of the art technology appropriate to deliver stable and scalable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget.
  • Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation.
  • Contribute to standards and design patterns.
  • Deliver solutions tailored to internal business requirements.
  • Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required.
  • Provide 3rd level support and input as required to teams diagnosing reported issues, providing root cause analysis to management and the business teams.
  • Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN Design and Engineering
  • VPN technologies, Network Encryption and Network Access Control experience.
  • Handson experience with Cisco IOSbased routers: ASR, ISRs, Cat8Ks.
  • Handson experience with Cisco Licensing Server
  • Cisco IOS based switches within the Catalyst and Nexus families.
  • Strong working knowledge of networking layer 3 technologies, such as routing protocols OSPF, BGP, EVPN, ACI, Multicast, VRF, GRE & IPSec
  • Solid working knowledge of data communication protocol suites such as TCP/IP and other general data networking knowledge (data cabling), and telecom services (T1/T3/OC3, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure performance diagnosis and scalability assessment activities
  • Indepth knowledge of layer 2 technologies, such as Vlans, Spanning-Tree, MLAG, MEC, VXLAN and MPLS.
  • Central Authentication, Authorization and Accounting protocols such as RADIUS or TACACS+
  • Display their core network engineering fundamental knowledge which includes but not limited to network system design and implementation procedures


Qualifications :
Need to have at least 10 years of experience with core networking technologies and other disciplines related to data communications

  • Ability to work and document proof of concepts (POCs), assessments, detailed evaluations report etc.
  • Solid understanding of network topologies: routing & switching
  • Solid understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP and packet analysis)
  • Ability to write technical and operations documentation
  • Ability to describe technical concept; verbally and on paper
  • Cisco Certification, CCNP or above a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions using Check Point, Cisco, and Juniper firewall technologies.
  • Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
  • Configuring and managing intrusion detection and prevention systems.
  • Monitoring network traffic for unusual activities and security threats.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to address security concerns and incidents.
  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Performing security incident response and forensic investigation when necessary.
  • Conducting regular security awareness training and education for staff.
  • Managing access control and authentication systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
Required

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP Security, CCSA, JNCIS-SEC, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with Check Point, Cisco, and Juniper firewall technologies.
  • Indepth knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience in network incident response and forensic investigation.
  • Strong understanding of VPN technologies and protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills related to network security issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
