We are looking for a Category Buyer to join our Nacelle Procurement Castings and Forgings commodity.

How to contribute to our vision

In the role of Category Buyer within Siemens Gamesa, you will:

• Manage negotiation tools and be the contact of SGRE with suppliers according the set up of the commodity.
• Implement regional/global commodity strategies into the local systems.
• Manage ECNs: full sourcing process (RFQs, negotiations and supplier awarding) under the framework of the global/regional strategy of the commodity.
• Support team with documentation download and with invoice approvals.
• Be first point of contact to SCL Expediting team in the shortages' management process.
• Support GCM & Lead Buyers in supplier management: identification of potential suppliers, supplier qualification, evaluation, etc.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

We are also looking for:

• Work experience in procurement or operations functions, ideally in a global organization.
• Proactive, responsible and focus on results.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong teamplayer with the ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to find solutions.
• You are confident in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ideally have good SAP knowledge and Power BI
• Proficiency in English language (both written and spoken)
• Experience with Ariba
• Experience with TCO analyzes, Financial (working capital and suppliers balance), foreign exchange
• Knowledge of E-Bidding / E-Auction formats and design
• Experience with LOB (Line of Balance) and Safe Stock
• Raw Material Indexation (Pig Iron, Steel Scrap and Energy), on castings components.
• Negotiation of yearly and multiple year agreements (focus on productivity, capacity reservation, exclusivity/preference and LD clauses)
• Have been worked in a foundry on a commercial or technical side, will be consider as a differential
