We are looking for a Category Buyer to join our Nacelle Procurement Small Steel Parts commodity.

How to contribute to our vision

In the role of Category Buyer within Siemens Gamesa, you will:

- Manage negotiation tools and be the contact of SGRE with suppliers according the set up of the commodity.
- Implement regional/global commodity strategies into the local systems.
- Manage ECNs: full sourcing process (RFQs, negotiations and supplier awarding) under the framework of the global/regional strategy of the commodity.
- Support team with documentation download and with invoice approvals.
- Be first point of contact to SCL Expediting team in the shortages’ management process.
- Support GCM & Lead Buyers in supplier management: identification of potential suppliers, supplier qualification, evaluation, etc.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:

- Work experience in procurement or operations functions, ideally in a global organization.
- Proactive, responsible and focus in results.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong team-player with the ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to find solutions.
- You are confident in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ideally have good SAP knowledge
- Proficiency in English language (both written and spoken)

Educational Qualification: B.E / B. Tech (Production / Industrial / Manufacturing). Business Administration will be added advantage.
