The Role:
- Drive adoption of our product at Higher Ed institutions, universities, and colleges in India.
- Must be a goal-oriented achiever, adept at remote work, and eager to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full sales cycle efficiently, from prospecting to closure, while surpassing sales targets.
- Create and implement a sales plan for your designated territory.
- Promote the product online and offline to researchers, faculty, and librarians.
- Proactively engage with clients and users via various channels.
- Utilize data analysis to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales objectives and contribute to team initiatives.
- Participate in tradeshows and other marketing events.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech or Academic Publishing.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills both in-person and online.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Hubspot, and other relevant platforms.
- Confidence in engaging with clients and product users.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and open to acquiring new skills.
- Resilient, with a drive to excel and overcome challenges.
