As a Chef specializing in Indian and Chinese cuisine at The Indian House, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite dishes that reflect the rich and diverse flavors of these two culinary traditions.

You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of our dishes meet our high standards.

Your passion for cooking, creativity, and attention to detail will be instrumental in creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development:

Collaborate with the management team to create and update our Indian and Chinese menu offerings, ensuring a balance of traditional and contemporary dishes.


Food Preparation:

Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, paying close attention to portion control, presentation, and taste.


Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and consistency by adhering to recipes, cooking techniques, and food safety guidelines.


Kitchen Management:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other chefs, kitchen staff, and management to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.

Customer Satisfaction:
Strive to exceed customer expectations by consistently delivering top-notch dishes and accommodating special requests when possible.

Cost Control:
Monitor food wastage, control portion sizes, and minimize expenses to contribute to the kitchen's profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Indian and Chinese cuisine.
