Objectives of this role

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business development strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
  • Monitor business development progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met

Job Description:

  • To research and evaluate specific business categories and market trends by identifying prospective accounts.
  • To develop new business streams through our digital media and native content offerings.
  • To meet and present our company portfolio to leading consumer brands and media agencies.
  • To expand a spreadsheet of active accounts and learn to prepare accurate forecasts of monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue.
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
  • Promote the company's services to prospective clients
  • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
  • Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople
  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
  • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's services

Job Requirements:

  • To understand our clients' business in relation to key staff, marketing objectives, budgeting cycles, etc.
  • To maintain regular contact via telephone, mail, video call and business / social relationships with key individuals within the digital advertising community.
  • To get involved in giving media/creative sales presentations, meeting new and current clients, and create and revise proposals.
  • To follow up on our clients Request for Proposals (RFP) and pitches.
  • To have the ability to read digital marketing project and media briefs and you will have experience working with leading media owners, other media agencies as well as third party platforms.
  • With good PC skills and well versed in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • To have a desire and drive to succeed in monetary returns in order to gain personal financial success.
  • To have a sheer passion for digital marketing and social media.

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven record of business development and growth
  • Business Development experience in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design domain
  • Strong knowledge of business and growth techniques
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
