As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our brand presence through franchise sales and management, as well as the sale of advertising space and marketing related services.

You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer service to franchisees and advertising clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities to drive growth and diversification.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, and operations, to develop and implement innovative strategies and initiatives.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and establish valuable connections within the industry.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform decisionmaking and continuously improve our business development efforts.

Advertising Sales:

  • Prospect, pitch, and close advertising deals with local businesses, agencies, and other potential clients.
  • Develop tailored advertising solutions to meet the unique needs and objectives of clients, leveraging the full range of our channel's advertising offerings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, anticipating their needs and providing exceptional service to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Franchise Sales and Management:

  • Identify potential franchise partners and assess their suitability based on predefined criteria.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract, onboard, and support franchisees across different regions in India.
  • Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to franchisees to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational excellence.
  • Monitor and evaluate franchise performance, addressing any issues or concerns proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in franchise sales, advertising sales, or business development roles, preferably within the media or broadcasting industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build reports and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and resultsdriven approach to achieving targets and objectives.
  • Knowledge of the Indian media landscape, advertising industry trends, and regulatory requirements is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
