Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: Seeking a Senior Executive for Business Development to boost company revenues through sales in Solar & ESS projects from corporate and industrial clients specializing in EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) projects.

Job Description:
  • Developing business in Solar & ESS EPC sectors by engaging with private and public sector companies.
  • Identifying customers, generating, and converting sales leads.
  • Coordinating with the tender team to monitor available tenders.
  • Conducting feasibility analysis with the technical team for tender bids.
  • Submitting expressions of interest for projects.
  • Delivering pitch presentations to government and private entities.
  • Creating technical and commercial proposals for deal closures.
  • Promoting company products and services in targeted markets through effective sales pitches.
  • Setting quarterly sales targets and strategies in alignment with the division head.
  • Engaging in pre-bid and business development activities to explore opportunities in renewable energy segments.
  • Liaising with stakeholders for land aggregation activities and market insights.
  • Implementing innovative solutions for alternative energy projects.
  • Contributing to new product development in the renewable energy sector.
  • Expertise in Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, and Lithium-Ion Battery technology.
Education/Experience

Skills: Proficiency in technical (Solar) aspects and communication. Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, PVSYST, project IRR calculations, and ROI calculations. Strong background in solar sector operations, team management, revenue planning, and supply chain management. Knowledge in business planning, project automation, and digitization. Minimum of 4-6 years of sales experience in renewable energy. Track record of successful delivery of large-scale solar projects independently (minimum 10 MW and above). Willingness to travel and work flexible hours. Team player with a target-oriented mindset.

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with an MBA.

Timing & Location
  • Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (6 days a week).
  • Location: Ghatkopar West, Mumbai.
