Objective:
The Finance & Accounts Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting overall financial management within the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in GST, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other taxation-related matters, alongside a robust background in day-to-day accounting, invoice booking, and financial statement preparation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Taxation:
Handle GST, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other taxation-related work, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns.
Handle tax assessments, audits, and appeals.
Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure timely implementation.
Accounting:
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Oversee and manage daily accounting operations including invoice booking, accounts payable/receivable, and ledger maintenance.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial projections.
Develop and implement effective financial strategies, policies, and controls.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements and, reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and tax filings.
Maintain and update financial systems and software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance and Advisory:
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Provide advisory services on taxation matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
Assist in the implementation of financial and accounting policies and procedures
Provide support in financial decision-making processes by offering analysis, guidance, and strategic recommendations.
Required skills and background:
Education qualification:
B.
Com graduate with 10-12 years of work experience.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Willingness to travel to different locations across India, as required.
Excellent knowledge and experience in statutory compliances under GST, Income Tax, TDS and Companies Act.
Experience with general ledger functions
Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally ERP 9
Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information
