Category Management:

  • Own complete responsibility for overseeing Category Management in the F&B sector, which includes crafting the category's vision, planning, and execution
  • Identify and cultivate Target Sectors, Target Customers, Category Outlines, Products & Brands, Differentiation Strategies, and foster Innovation to ensure the category stays relevant and dynamic
  • Analyze competition and explore alternative channels to identify fast-moving products that can boost sales
  • Produce and oversee Monthly Category Analysis Reports
  • Optimize sales performance while overseeing Pricing, Promotions, Margins, and Inventory management
  • Develop and execute placement and planogram strategies to enhance category turnover
  • Strategize and implement merchandising plans
  • Utilize sales data to forecast product needs, plan product ranges/stock, and coordinate with buyers for timely supplies
  • Create layout plans for sales and merchandise, anticipate profits/sales, and plan budgets
  • Monitor stock movement and sales trends

New Product Development:

  • Formulate Product Strategies aligned with the Business Plan, supported by robust Customer & Market insights and Needs Gap Analysis to generate value for Customers and the Enterprise
  • Establish a solid pipeline for new product development and enhancements by collaborating with cross-functional teams

Branding (Static & Digital):

  • Drive growth in the Branding Business Line for Vendiman
  • Build a strong prospect funnel and enhance brand relationships to maximize branding space and revenue through static and digital channels
  • Develop and execute solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams and prospects, manage promotions effectively
  • Implement promotional plans to drive consumer engagement and boost sales

Customer Feedback:
Utilize Customer feedback to gain insights, provide solutions, and take prompt corrective actions as needed.

Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate Vendors, negotiate commercially on various aspects, and establish collaborative relationships to enhance income, discounts, and category profitability
  • Conduct business reviews with vendors to achieve mutually beneficial goals

Requirements for Candidates:

  • 5-7 years of solid experience in Category Management, preferably in the FMCG or F&B industry
  • Strong track record in overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of new product development
  • Customer-centric approach, entrepreneurial mindset, commercial awareness, and familiarity with Market Research, Competition, and Analytics
  • Ability to derive insights from Market and Data for Product Development and Improvements
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, collaborating, and demonstrating a hands-on and result-oriented approach
  • Self-starter with a drive for innovation, attention to detail, curiosity, creativity, numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong listening, presentation, and decision-making abilities
