Job Description

Job Title: Head of Tools/Equipment

Location: Hyderabad

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Tools/Equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of tools and equipment worth 300 Cr and ensuring their effective management throughout their lifecycle. This role involves strategic planning, supplier management, and optimizing return on investment (ROI) for new tools and equipment. Candidates with a background in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environments are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:

Oversee tools and equipment valued at 300 Cr, ensuring their proper utilization and maintenance. Develop and implement strategies for the effective lifecycle management of assets.

Supplier Management:

Collaborate with equipment suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensure quality standards, and manage relationships. Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

ROI Optimization:

Analyse the return on investment for new tools and equipment acquisitions. Implement measures to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of assets.

OEM Collaboration:

Leverage experience in Original Equipment Manufacturer environments to bring industry best practices. Foster partnerships with OEMs to stay abreast of technological advancements and innovations.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure that all tools and equipment comply with industry standards and regulations. Implement safety measures and protocols to uphold a secure working environment.

Team Leadership:

Lead a team of professionals responsible for tools and equipment management. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on tools and equipment management. Strong negotiation and communication skills for effective supplier and team collaboration. Experience in OEM environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to tools and equipment. Strategic thinker with the ability to optimize ROI on assets.
