Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify, research, and qualify potential clients within the AV, automation, and BMS sectors.
  • Conduct outreach to generate new leads and build a strong pipeline of prospects.

Technical Outreach:

  • Engage with prospects to understand their technical needs and challenges, providing tailored information on Vector Systems' solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.

Initial Consultations:

  • Conduct technical consultations to gather requirements and identify opportunities for Vector Systems' products and services.
  • Utilize expertise in AV integration, home automation systems, and BMS solutions to communicate value propositions effectively.

CRM Management:

  • Maintain and update CRM with detailed information on prospects, leads, and sales activities.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead conversion rates and pipeline growth.

Market and Industry Analysis:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide insights to refine strategies to the sales and marketing teams.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop targeted campaigns and materials.
  • Support the sales team with technical knowledge and documentation during the sales process.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years in sales development or a similar role within the AV, automation, or BMS industry.
  • Track record of generating and qualifying leads in a technical field.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with technical stakeholders.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand and articulate complex technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
