HR MIS Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the effective functioning of the Human Resources Management Information System. This position involves managing and optimizing HR data, generating reports, and providing analytical support to enhance decision making processes within the HR department. The HR MIS Specialist collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information for strategic HR planning and organizational development.

Responsibilities :

Data Management:

  • Collect, compile, and maintain accurate and up to date HR data.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across HR databases.
  • Regularly audit HR data to identify and correct errors.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop and generate standard and ad hoc reports on HR metrics.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

System Administration:

  • Oversee the administration and configuration of HR information systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT to implement solutions.
  • Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to understand their needs and tailor systems accordingly.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training to HR staff on the effective use of HR information systems.
  • Offer support to end users, addressing system related inquiries and issues.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and documentation.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure HR data compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard sensitive HR information.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data privacy and security.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related.
  • Experience working on Advance MS Excel.
  • Proven experience in HR data management and HR information systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
