Job Description

Key Role -
§ Generate Revenue & growth - Capability to manage and grow the assigned business in alignment with organizational goals.
§ Team & People Management - should have experience of managing sales & business development team for effective functioning.
§ Business Development - lead the business by providing access to business own network and leverage of the management relationships.
§ Negotiation & Financial analytics - Good understanding Insurance/ broker business, experience in deal structuring to facilitate negotiations and new deal closures in the B&A space. Candidate should have negotiations experience to lead deals from origination to closure.
§ Soft Skills - Very good communication skills for Networking & BD. Good at multi-tasking and open to work in start-up environment to efficiently leverage candidate's skills across business responsibilities -
§ Target B2B corporates & ensure sales targets are met.
§ Understand affinity channel needs and bundle product propositions & ensure effective implementation.
§ Complete BD ownership in delivering, managing all opportunities (360 degree Concept selling/ deal origination, negotiation and closure approach)
§ Lead/own the B&A Deal sign-off process for all Deals - supported by the trained product member in the team for the Deal Sign-off process - shall be responsible for all documentation and processed TAT's adherence for timely submissions and approval for deals to make qualified offers.
§ Maintain sales funnel.
§ Manage the sales/ BD team, training of the team.
§ Liaise and manage escalations - with internal stakeholders.
§ Work in collaboration with Business/ Product Head to effectively drive business budgets and Annual Plans
§ Periodic reviews to ensure the profitability of the deals/ Exploit opportunities arising so as to maximize the overall profitable return to the business.
§ Ensure effective timely Sales/ BD business review with the Business head-create Analytics tools to produce pre-defined business matrices to ensure timely/accurate and up to date business assessment and ensure course correction/ business interventions.
§ Collaborate with internal teams product/ digital, operations, network, IT, Finance
§ Wok closely with client servicing/ account management team for renewals/ cross sell/ upsell opportunities.
§ Work with client servicing team on hand holding during client handover for client servicing/ program launch.

The Successful Applicant

Qualification & Experience -
MBA - Major: Marketing / Sales/ Business Strategy
Around 10-15 years sales experience in Healthcare, insurance, Banks & Financial Services.
Understanding of and Network in the Indian General Insurance industry (~ with focus on the Affinity based distribution models)/ Healthcare Consulting or EB broking/ Other wellness companies/ Corporate B2B sales.
