Indiahikes is the largest trekking organisation in India. More than 10,000 people interact with our website every day. We are also the largest database of trekking information in India.

Our website has been our biggest pillar, hosting all our content, database, and trekker interface for the past 13 years.

We have built our backend on
Java and our website (the one you interact with) on
and Prismic**.

We're looking for an
IT Coordinatorto join us for our constantly growing IT needs.

You will help develop new features and capabilities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development team to understand and manage all the IT systems of Indiahikes.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the smooth deployment of code changes and new features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with the development team to implement fixes.
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and methodologies and recommend improvements to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and procedures related to the digital infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • We are looking at 23 years of experience in the IT sector. We want to groom someone young who can grow along with us.
  • Experience with Java and React
  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
This is a full-time position in Bengaluru. You'll work from the Indiahikes office. The salary range starts with lakhs per annum.
