Godrej Agrovet is a food and agri conglomerate, dedicated to improving the productivity of Indian farmers by innovating products and services that sustainably increase crop and livestock yields. Our Crop Protection business has a wide range of products that cater to the entire crop lifecycle. Our constantly evolving product portfolio includes Plant Growth Regulators, Organic Manures, Biostimlants and Crop Protection chemicals. Today, we are the world's largest producers and marketers of Homobrassinolides. We are also the leader in selective post-emergence cotton herbicides in India
We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve farm productivity at our Research & Development Centre, which is recognised by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. We also collaborate with a number of multinational companies and Japanese research firms
About the role
Job Responsibility:
Drive demand generation with a focus on liquidation in the assigned area. Through field promotional activities such as pre-sowing campaigns, Farmer Training Programs, Field days and Field trips in key villages of the assigned area Plan, track and manage a team of Market Development Associate (MDA) and their activities.
Actively manage relationships with Distributors and Retailers Focus on accurate and timely planning, placement, liquidation, and collections. Report sales and other commercial activities and other digital platforms.
Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers in the territory.
Create and Execute the Commercial plan and modus operandi to deliver the planned commercial activities for the responsible geography. Plan and ensure that the right product is available on the shelf at the right time and right quantity.
Execute a plan for the growth of the responsible geography, increase market share, and lead growth. Ensure that the right people are available to deliver the business aspiration.
Have a fully motivated, engaged, and energized Field Staff.
Support a strong channel engagement and campaign plan along with executing the Go-To-Market Strategy for effective business success.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by a senior manager from time to time.
Key Deliverable-
Achieve sales revenue targets for the sales region.
Undertake the required channel management to ensure availability of company stocks, enable prompt and efficient liquidation in line with demand and minimize saleable returns from trade.
Accountable for collections from all customers in the sales region, ensure they are in line with policies.
Maintain a leading position of the company by creating pull for product assortment at the channel level.
Who are we looking for?
Education:
Bsc ( Agri) and Post Graduate/ MBA ( ABM).
Experience:
Total work experience of 10 yrs+. Agro-industry experience
Skills:
Experienced in Sales management, Customer Relation Management Large Customer management skills, Team player, communication skills, customer handling skills Strong financial acumen Customer service attitude
A strategic mindset to develop a channel growth plan Team working and People Management Skills
Knowledge of local language /Products/Markets Sets ambitious strategic goals Communicates with impact Leads change and holds ambiguity Builds a culture of innovation;
Willingness to travel for at least days in a month.
Manages for performance, Develops team capability, self-collaborates across agrochemical industry.
