Key Result Area (KRA) - Territory Sales Manager (TSM)

1. Sales Territory Management:

  • Take full ownership of the assigned territory's sales activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage and market penetration.
  • Establish, Generate and nurture relationships with distributors in adherence to company norms and guidelines.

2. Distributor Management:

  • Actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding of distributors within the designated area.
  • Provide continuous support and guidance to distributors to facilitate sales growth and achieve set targets.

3. Sales Generation:

  • Daily visit a minimum of twenty (20) sales counters to either establish new distributors or generate orders for existing distributors.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to enhance market presence and drive secondary sale generation.

4. Attendance and Reporting:

  • Mark attendance daily through the company's attendance app, ensuring accurate and timely records.
  • Share comprehensive sales plans and regular working reports with the immediate reporting manager to ensure transparency and effective communication.

5. Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with retailers and key stakeholders in the market to bolster the distributor's sales network.


6. Sales Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed targets.
  • Implement innovative sales techniques and initiatives to stay ahead of market trends and competition.

7. Performance Evaluation:

  • Regularly evaluate the performance of distributors against predefined key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement corrective actions and provide necessary training to enhance distributor performance.


8. Market Intelligence:


  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to identify opportunities, challenges, and competitor activities.
  • Utilize insights to formulate effective strategies for sustainable sales growth.

9. Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales and distribution activities.


10. Professional Development:

  • Proactively seek opportunities for professional development to stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly sales targets achieved.
  • Distributor acquisition and retention rates.
  • Daily counter visitation compliance.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of attendance marking.
  • Quality and frequency of sales plans and reports submitted.
