The Contracts Manager is responsible for the preparation and coordination of various deliverables such as: contracts and tasks related to the contracting process. This position provides both technical execution and project coordination to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. A team player with strong industry experience works closely with the sales teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and legal team to meet desired goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Be a productive and positive member of the RWAA Business Operations team. Attend meetings, work collaboratively, and offer expertise for improvements. (Some overlap with EST time zone is requested)

· Organize meetings to collaborate with internal stakeholders to strategize, prepare, and provide timely and accurate deliverables. This may require some overlap with European and North American time zones.

· End-to-end management of the contracting process: Prepare draft work orders, amendments, and other documents based on proposals and quotes using various templates according to the Cytel legal SOP as part of the Business Operations team.

· Facilitate legal and senior reviews/approvals in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

· Ensure contractual documents are processed and maintained in relevant databases.

· Maintain updates in sales database details according to contract details and process (SalesForce/Trello)

· Manage and execute contracts to close and process with Sales Operations and Finance.

· Review and validate work order/amendment for accurate content, consistent format and SOP compliance.

· Create, build and manage excellent external and internal stakeholder relationships.

Minimum Education: Master's degree in business management, clinical sciences, statistics, or equivalent experience in job performance.

Minimum Work Requirements:

· A minimum three to five years of prior experience in a contracting group at a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or within a pharma, academic, biotech organization in clinical research (functional or team leadership).

· Experience in pharmaceutical contracting drafting, execution, and surveillance.

Skills:

· Superior level of the English language, both written and verbal.

· Strong understanding of contract management; Preparing contract documents, including standalone agreements, Work Orders (WO), Change Orders (CO).

· Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

· Demonstrated ability to make customer focused decisions while maintaining Cytel policies, procedures, and best interests.
