Gegadyne Energy, the future of battery technology, is seeking an Associate - Strategy to join their team. The company is on a mission to accelerate the world's transition from an all carbon to an all-electric economy. We are developing non-lithium based quick-charging battery technology that will change the unit economics of everything associated with it. As an Associate - Strategy, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company's overall mission. You will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, conducting market research, and providing insights into emerging trends in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities
  • Identify key areas for business growth, develop new business opportunities, and execute strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market research and analysis.
  • Recommend initiatives from internal and external factors that minimize risks and formulate
  • plans to achieve long-term goals.
  • Asses organizational performance and develop achievable goals by implementing processes
  • that improve organizational effectiveness while building a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
  • Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks, and new investment products.
  • Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios.
  • Develop complex financial models and analyse legal documents.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize, and execute projects,
  • balance business needs vs. technical constraints, ensure quality, and drive bottom line results.
  • Own end to end projects from initial recommendation through implementation/execution and assurance of successful business impact.
  • Research on asset classes, sector, and companies - business, products, financials
  • Analysing company's financial statement including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cashflow Statement.
  • Understand and conduct financial statement analysis and valuation based on DCF method.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or /CA/CMA with a master's degree in business administration.
  • 4-8 years of experience in business development, strategy, and growth initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data for informed decision making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, engineering, procurement, and construction industry is not mandatory.
