Hiring for a Sales and Marketing Lead - Aerospace Component Manufacturing, for one of the specialized aerospace parts manufacturers.

Our client is a prominent player in the aerospace materials industry, focuses on sourcing, stocking, and supplying a diverse range of aerospace raw materials.

Operating from dedicated warehouses in Gummidipoondi, Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, they are certified with AS9100 Rev D and AS9120 Rev B Quality systems.

They are offering unique value-addition capabilities, such as band-saw cutting, turning, milling, and NDT testing, they specialize in sourcing super alloys for critical applications.

The client not only adheres to material standards but also assists customers in defining specifications based on applications, conducts relevant tests, and provides certifications.

Our client serves various industries, including aerospace, space research, gas turbines, and nuclear power plants, they are a one-stop solution for material requirements, emphasizing quality and customization.


Role details:

  • Title / Designation: Sales and Marketing Lead
  • Reporting Manager: Vice President
  • Location: Chennai/ Sricity / Bengaluru
  • Work Mode: WorkfromOffice

Role & responsibilities:

  • Understand company objectives, and conduct market research to evaluate opportunities, identify potential partners, set pricing, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts
  • Contact potential clients, inform them of company products and services, and solicit new business
  • Maintain and grow the company's sales pipeline, forecast sales out, time sales to close, and forecast revenue
  • Oversee sales of company's products and services
  • Develop and manage the company's marketing programs, including implementing marketing plans and budgets
  • Develop sales action plans for new and existing clients based on market needs and business objectives
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales plans and strategies, including creating and updating marketing and sales plans, setting marketing budgets, monitoring performance, and developing and designing marketing materials for web and print
  • Create sales strategies to increase company's
  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • To have a realistic analysis on competitors
  • Develop sales strategies as per need of the market.

Candidate requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing with strong leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze consumer behaviour.
  • Ability to conduct market research to evaluate opportunities, identify potential partners, set pricing, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing plans.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in social media planning and execution.
  • Ability to efficiently manage budgets.
  • Experience in sourcing and retaining talent within the marketing department.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and ROI measurement.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing promotional programs and product concepts.
  • Continuous learning and adaptation to industry trends.
