Hiring for a Finance Leader - Aerospace Component Manufacturing, for a specialized aerospace parts manufacturer.

With operational hubs situated in dedicated warehouses in Gummidipoondi, Chennai, and Andhra Pradesh, our client boasts certifications in AS9100 Rev D and AS9120 Rev B Quality systems. Offering unparalleled value-addition capabilities such as band-saw cutting, turning, milling, and NDT testing, they specialize in sourcing super alloys for critical applications. Noteworthy for not only adhering to material standards but also assisting customers in defining specifications based on applications, conducting relevant tests, and providing certifications. Serving diverse industries including aerospace, space research, gas turbines, and nuclear power plants, they offer comprehensive material solutions emphasizing quality and customization.

Role details:

Title / Designation : VP - Finance Reporting to : Managing Director Location:  Chennai

Role & responsibilities:

Lead financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and statutory compliance. Serve as Company Secretary and Trust Secretary, managing relationships with auditors, bankers, insurers, and legal advisors. Direct financial processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Supervise and mentor the Finance and Accounting Department. Plan and implement annual budgeting processes. Generate profit forecasts, cash flow analyses, and reports. Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations. Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations. Maintain organized and updated financial records. Attend relevant training and provide guidance to junior accountants. Oversee all accounting tasks and transactions, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

Candidate requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Extensive experience in financial management, preferably within aerospace manufacturing. Strong leadership and communication skills. Expertise in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Strategic thinking and ability to analyze complex financial data. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
