Position: Manager – Finance (Pricing & Profitability Analysis)

Location: Chennai

Reporting to: Associate Director – Finance


Job Description:

Pricing- Expert (IT Industry)


  • Planning and executing the commercial framework and proposal for any new RFP for potential/existing clients
  • Responsible for implementing pricing strategy in line with overall organizational strategy
  • Formulate and implement effective pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness in the market and tracking the deal profitability
  • Participating contract negotiations with the client
  • Responsible for analyzing existing pricing and suggesting process improvements to keep cost under control
  • Active interaction and reviews with solutions, IT, transition and Sr. leadership
  • Ensure compliance to pricing standards
  • Carrying Cost Benefit Analysis of key initiatives
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiative

FP&A (Account Profitability Analysis).

  • Planning, forecasting, monitoring and tracking long and short range plans
  • Preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, operating plans and modeling tools
  • Analysis of financials and tracking the same against the Budget and Forecast
  • Monthly review of the PnL and Business performance with leaders.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans and strategies to support the company's growth objectives
  • Interact with Customer SPOC for finance related queries.
  • Track Operational metrics and work with Business on improvement areas.
  • Maintain tracker of all new clients.

Profile Description:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance with 7-9 years of experience in Pricing & FP&A.
  • good communication skills as the role will require coordination with various stakeholders
  • attitude as the role demands individual to deal with ambiguities and solve for them
  • handhold on Excel, PowerPoint and other tools
  • numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
