Opportunity Details
People in the Graphic Designs master "the art and practice of planning and projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content. This team communicates certain ideas or messages in a visual way. These visuals can be as simple as a logo, or as complex as page layouts on a website.
Graphics Designs saddle with the responsibility of using specialized graphic design software to create aesthetically pleasing images that go with the written text to inform, inspire, and captivate our target audience with the overall goal of increasing sales & sign-ups to our services, social media followers, and website, and converting these leads into clients. This role requires you to use your graphical skills to help bring our brand marketing ideas to life.
What you will do:
- You will work closely with the Marketing & Branding Head, and the Software Developer, to create and design Website pages, Videos, and Fliers. These designs will be catchy and attractive, to establish a client base, create brand recognition and drive interest in our product
- You should be able to create interesting designs that are relatable, clear, and appealing.
Key Responsibilities
Working with our CEO and the marketing team, your role includes:
Graphic Design:
- Help making design choices (e.g., fonts and colors) for all VR Superstore content to be used across the website, blog, and all social pages.
Visual Concept:
- Produce visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience.
- Conceptualize visuals based on management's requirements.
Multi-Channel Design Kits:
- Deliver creatives across multiple channels and platforms including social media, email, website, and blog.
- Test designs across various platforms.
Branding:
- Use our brand guidelines to continue to build visually evocative communicative designs for our audience.
- Use the proper brand colors and layouts for each design.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
- help to prepare/design company documents like PPT slides, pitch-deck, etc.
Communication:
- Collaborate with the wider team on any design requests.
- Schedule projects and define timelines for stakeholders.
- Oversee other graphic design requests made by the CEO or constituted authority.
Research:
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends that can help our brand stand out among competitors.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience in Graphic Design (mandatory)
- Knowledge in consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred)
Skills and Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Graduate degree or similar education in Graphic Design.
- Creative and tech savvy.
- Flexibility to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the project requirements change.
- Good with Photoshop, Canva, Adobe and other related graphic design tools.
- Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features
- Initiative-taker with a strong commitment to driving results
- Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment
- Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
