Details About opportunity


People in Business Development teams are responsible for helping the organization obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. They coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing teams the review of current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.


Business developers will be the first point of contact a new potential client will have with your company when they are seeking information about what you offer. They respond to RFPs and vendors, developing sales in territories that have not bought the company’s type of product line before.


What You Will Do


Collaborate with Sales Representatives:


  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and close new business deals or expand existing opportunities.
  • Directly engage with customers to close deals, leveraging strong customer service skills and in-depth knowledge of our products and services.


Key Responsibilities


Client Identification and Research:


  • Identify and research potential clients to target business opportunities.


Client Relationship Management:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.


Proposal Coordination:


  • Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.


Contract Negotiation:


  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment.


Project Monitoring:


  • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.


Market Intelligence:


  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.


Presentations:


  • Make and deliver presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.


Process Implementation:


  • Create and implement processes and policies to support overall business objectives.


Sales Pipeline Management:


  • Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline.


Strategic Partnerships:


  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.


Proposal Tracking:


  • Track and report on the status of proposal components.


Market Research:


  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends.


Rate Proposals:


  • Work with the pricing department to create competitive rate proposals.


Sales Process Management:


  • Drive the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to contract execution.


Sales Contracts:


  • Prepare and submit sales contracts.


Education and Experience: MBA/BE/B. Com/BBA degree.


Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Business Development and Technology (preferred).


Knowledge: Experience in consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred).


Skills and Requirements


  • Language: Fluent in English (other languages welcome).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Record Keeping: Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Technology Interest: Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features.
  • Self-Starter: Strong commitment to driving results and taking initiative.
  • Personality: Enthusiastic, outgoing, and comfortable in a competitive environment.
  • Professionalism: Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Acquired Skills


  • Proven track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Ability to plan and manage resources effectively.
