Understanding and performing TCP dumps, snoop, and other network sniffers. Understands and applies knowledge of most protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, UDP, etc.) and types of Load Balancers.
Working knowledge of Web related technologies including DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSL CertificatesConversant with APM tools like App Dynamic, Data Dog or Dynatrace in order of preference.
Experience with Log Analytics systems like Azure Analytics and Splunk, OpenSearch in order of preference.Experience with monitoring tools like Graphana and Nagios in order of prefrenceExperience with Jenkins based CI/CD processes for release management.3+ years' experience in a technical support role.
Act as Level 3 support on 24/7 on-call rotation.As needed act as an escalation point for Engineering Support and escalate to Engineering team for assistance and troubleshooting.4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related functional field)Good To HaveExperience of working on Analytical Data River/Lake systems like Snowflake will be highly preferred.
Should be able to design new tools to monitor and smart alerts that help discover failures/issues in a timely fashion and work with engineers to identify root cause and fix issues.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM Service Management toolsWorking experience in an e-Commerce retail environment.Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef and Puppet
Education
A bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
