Application Development Analyst

Position Overview:

Evernorth Core Platform Engineering team is looking for a production support analyst, whose primary role will be to do code triage and analysis, and quick fixes for issues. The focus of the work is to identify and rectify any technical and functional challenges in the Packaged Capabilities Space and its underlying applications, Infrastructure or external SaaS Products that support them.

This role requires a highly technical and motivated individual capable of interacting withstakeholders and engineering teams and is responsible for post-implementation support changes that go into production. In this role, an individual will proactively monitor production tickets, trend analysis, identify areas of improvement and improve operational expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Eyes on the glass 24x7 monitoring, react to any alerts, be able to analyze and tweak Dynatrace alerts, basic Splunk querying, Tealeaf research, impersonation/harness, isolate issues and handle/engage Support calls.
  • Work on any escalated issues, facilitate and lead discussions with multiple teams.
  • Utilize application monitoring solutions to enhance application availability and performance in production
  • Conduct root-cause analysis as and when needed and propose a corrective action plan.
  • Responsible for reports, requests (like RFP), Maintaining the SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Maintain logs of all issues and ensure resolutions according to quality assurance tests for all production processes.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all assigned tasks incidents, problem tickets, etc.
  • Adhere to the defined support delivery process/guidelines like Problem
  • Develop / propose innovative approaches on process improvements & automation possibilities

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education:

  • 1-3 years of Years' experience in software development or maintenance
  • College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with most of the following technologies: Java and/or Scala, Node JS and/or React and ability to understand complex architectures.
  • Familiarity with Cloud services AWS or other similar services
  • Ability to navigate, understand API errors codes, rate limits, Synthetic monitoring and Observability patterns.
  • Proven experience with coding and supporting enterprise application solutions.
  • Strong technical debugging & analytical skills
  • Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and suggest rectification options.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills Should be able to provide technical and functional impact summary of the managed incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree (BE or MCA).
  • Exposure to AWS
  • Exposure to Production environments

Industry / Domain Experience Needed:

  • Demonstrated experience in production maintenance.
  • Ability to navigate a geographically diverse team and communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and its usage in complex applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills can interact with all levels of the organization.
