ROLEOBJECTIVE &

DELIVERABLES:

TheServiceNow Business Analyst assists the lead or works independentlydesigning developingand implementingIT processes conducting research and performing analysis requiredto build respectivemodules withinServiceNow Platform based upon Client requirements.

This willcomprise of capturingbusiness requirementsin the form of stories working with the scrum master and thedevelopment team to overseebuild of thestories as well as testing configured functionalities end to end assoon as these have beendeveloped.

Mainduties Workclosely with Clients to understand and translate their business andtechnicalrequirements Organise and own workshops capturing the output in the formworkflows minutes actionsdecisions issuesand risks Provide creative solutions to resolve business problems via agreedClient requirements onthe ServiceNowplatform utilising existing Out of the Box capabilities processgaps (ITIL or equivalent)and culturalchallenges(people) Createuse cases and document requirements as Stories for the Client toratify and theDevelopment Teamtoconfigure/build Assist in the documentation of integration requirements betweensystems for configurationby developmentteams Organiseand own the scrum process (e.g.

standups burndowns &story pointing) Build and own development sprints technical development stories andany technicalbuild documentationneeded as part of a customerengagement Support the technical delivery of transformation projects based onthe ServiceNowplatform Reviewdevelopment outputs e.g.

forms andworkflow Drivethe testing of process & own the defectlog Support forUAT with project teammembers Manageand oversee workstream risks issues and client reporting supportingDelivery Lead Provide guidance to junior resources and assist in growing andstrengthening the practicecapability.


KEYSKILLS &EXPERIENCE:

MustHave Strongknowledge of the ServiceNow Platform (especially ITSM and CMDB) andthe potential valueand benefitsthat can be delivered to Clients either OOB or with minimumcustomisation Maintain knowledge in line with each ServiceNow upgrade patchenhancement and new productlines Interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and to resolveconflicts among project stakeholders;such as clientsand internal teammembers Stronganalytical skills are needed to critically evaluate the informationgathered from multiplesources reconcileconflicts Anaptitude for problemsolving Skilledin conducting / leading workshops of minimum of 10people Cancommunicate both verbally and in written form clearly andinformatively andlisten Expertorganisational and time management skills with the ability toprioritise selfstarter able towork independentlywith minimum ofsupervision Decompose highlevel information intodetails Abilityto articulate technical IT changes in clear and simple manner tobusinessstakeholders.

Ability to define problems collect data establish facts in astructured way for detailedanalysis Ability to analyse large amounts of complex information in order toreach valid andjustifiable conclusions

Experience of working in an Agile methodology and applying Agilepractices whereapplicable Understanding of the end to end view of how business processes aresupported by toolsand applications.

Practical experience of documenting process maps using Visio orother tooling.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite software (MS WordExcel PowerPoint andVisio) ShouldHave Fundamental understanding of the implications of applicationsarchitecture and othertechnical considerations.

ITIL V3 or V4 Foundationcertification Business Analysis centric qualifications e.g. BCS orIIBA ServiceNowCertified SystemAdministrator Scrum or Agilecertification Developer or Architectexperience
