Responsibilities:
Directly collaborate with Merlin's founders to execute HR strategies & Operational tasks.

HR Strategies & Talent acquisitionCrafting job descriptionsManaging Employee Onboarding and Equipment ManagementManage the procurement of essential technology gadgets for new joiners.

Facilitating interviews and evaluationManaging appraisals, exit formalities, reimbursements, etc.
Organise and oversee weekly brunches, and annual team outings.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process with all necessary office supplies.
Managing job portals (as of now we only use slack for internal communication and Razorpay for salary processing)Reaching out to elite candidates for applications
Operations TasksFacilitate communication between management and staff about operational updates and HR policies.
Use internal communication tools to keep the team informed and engaged.
Regularly monitor and ensure adherence to the established Code of Conduct and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) norms.
Oversee document organisation and management, ensuring all company paperwork is maintained with the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate company events and manage employee engagement programs to cultivate a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Serve as the primary point of contact between the founders and team members, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution of queries and issues.

Develop and implement efficient office management systems to optimise organisational productivity.
Oversee inventory of office essentials and place orders as needed to ensure the office is well-stocked.

Requirements:
MBA, Bachelors in Technology, or a related field.

Demonstrated interest in HR, Office Management, or Event planning through past academic or extracurricular activitiesStrong foundational knowledge in HR practices & complianceWillingness to take initiative and lead projects with minimal supervision.

Commitment to professional growth and excellence in a fast-paced startup environment.
At least 2 peak experiences (non-exhaustive list of examples provided below, two of these can be good for a shortlist)

Basic proficiency in communication skills, both written and verbal

Maths and Data Proficiency:
Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in data management tools like MS Office, particularly Excel and Sheets. Ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
