Wolters Kluwer is looking for a Lead Enterprise Engineer who is an engineer at heart with a knack for leading engineering teams in our GBS Services organization.
Has an end-to-end understanding of the enterprise cloud services and can effectively collaborate closely with our customers, Cloud Operations, Security, Compliance, and other key stakeholder teams.
Reviews systems under development and related documentation. May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.Responsibilities:
Accountable for end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure services program maintaining oversight of project/sprint and program increment plans to ensure quality and predictability.
Work with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver on system design and development for the needed business requirements supporting various business unitsWork with high-level enterprise strategy and blueprints and convert them into system-level deliverablesWork across the GBS organizations including teams responsible for requirements, solution architecture, quality assurance and production supportDeliver utilizing cloud technologies and cloud-native CI/CD toolsHave a strong ability to troubleshoot problems and suggest solutionsHelp ensure solutions are being delivered per standards of availability, scalability and security point of view and that are done on time with the highest qualityHelp ensure that standards and guidelines are created for all aspects of technology being used in the delivery, all delivery artefacts are reviewed and are according to the standards and guidelines and SLAs are being met for servicesHire and cultivate high-performing leaders and engineersCommunicate effectively to executive leaders (such as VPs, and CXOs) and when required, speak to non-technical audiences.
Educational qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree will be preferred
Experience required:
12+ years' experience in Software EngineeringCloud Platform Expertise : Must have working experience with both AWS and Azure platforms - familiarity with key services and management of multi-cloud environments is requiredInfrastructure as Code (IaC) : Must be proficient in using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources - working experience in writing and maintaining reusable Terraform code and modules is requiredConfiguration Management : Must be skilled in using Ansible for automation and configuration tasks - experience in creating standardized environments, including necessary extensions and configurations is requiredScripting & Automation : Must have strong scripting skills in either Python or PowerShell - working experience with cloud SDKs such as boto3 and Azure SDK is requiredCI/CD Pipeline Management : Must have extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps - experience in automated testing and deployment strategies is requiredCross-Team Collaboration : Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to gather requirements, influence and guide decision-making
