With a global presence across ten locations and a team of over 900 professionals, they are now looking for a dynamic and skilled General Manager to lead their operations in India.
Your Task
- Manage the Indian production site, overseeing revenue, profit, and personnel
- Develop and execute programs to optimize machinery and mold manufacturing
- Implement a modern production strategy for enhanced performance
- Continuously improve processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead and mentor employees in India
- Provide regular reports to the board of directors
- Handle all legal and commercial affairs, collaborating closely with the finance department in Germany
- Supervise the product portfolio and maintain desired profit margins
- Manage operations in coordination with the board of directors
Your Profile
- Strong leadership, empathy, and clear communication skills
- Degree in business engineering, mechanical engineering, economics, or similar
- Minimum of ten years experience in international executive roles in mechanical engineering
- Proven track record in managing international sites, particularly in India
- Expertise in operations, strategy development, and market penetration
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indian languages
