JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a crucial role in crafting and implementing effective communications to reach our customers. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communication, this position focuses on delivering consistent brand messages using various channels to enhance the hotel's image. Responsibilities include developing marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and digital strategies to boost consumer awareness, increase market share, and elevate brand recognition. The role emphasizes promoting Food and Beverage offers to both hotel guests and local clientele. Collaborating closely with regional resources, Marketing and Communication Managers establish strong partnerships with eCommerce and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of local marketing efforts with overall sales strategies. Additionally, the role involves a mix of traditional and digital marketing activities, contributing to public relations initiatives and measuring success based on sales growth, social media engagement, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required:

  • 2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field, plus 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or digital domains; hospitality marketing or digital advertising background is preferred.

OR

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field, along with 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or digital fields; experience in hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency is a plus.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Hotel Marketing and Advertising

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate promotions and campaigns with operational teams to target hotel guests and drive revenue.
  • Act as a bridge between the marketing department and advertising agency for tactical campaigns and media plans, especially related to Food and Beverage promotions.
  • Manage F&B media schedules and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize offer placements and target the right consumer groups.
  • Implement email marketing and display advertising strategies.
  • Stay engaged with Cluster eCommerce manager for effective online program implementation.
  • Ensure digital advertising aligns with the brand's voice.

Social Media Content Management

  • Enhance social media engagement and update content on digital channels.
  • Create and launch promotional campaigns across various digital platforms for F&B, events, and services.
  • Manage online reputation by addressing guest feedback in social media channels.

Public Relations and Visual Asset Management

  • Develop quarterly PR plans and execute them in alignment with the GM's approval.
  • Maintain media contracts and manage press releases for property events and promotions.
  • Oversee hotel-sponsored events, community relations, and promotional activities.
  • Work with media agencies to identify strategic buys for the hotel.

Direct Marketing and Collateral Development

  • Coordinate production of printed materials and manage marketing collateral inventory.
  • Produce F&B display materials and temporary signage for public areas.
  • Conduct F&B direct marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure all collateral meets brand standards and complies with guidelines.

General

  • Assist in communications activities with a focus on F&B promotions and campaigns.
  • Support newsletter publication and other communication tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate on joint F&B promotions and keep websites updated.
  • Provide training and leadership in marketing to property teams.
  • Monitor competition and industry trends to stay ahead in marketing efforts.
