Location: New York City hybrid basis (12 days/week on site)

Experience: Mid-level candidates preferred (3-7 years experience ideal)

Interview: Local candidates strongly preferred, interview will be conducted through two phone calls

Key Skills:

• Contribute to Linux derivatives background (Equities or Fixed Income) or have experience working on a Trading Desk or Quant Desk
• Murex FLEX API knowledge is a plus
• DevOps Skills: experience in a Scrum environment (Jira/Agile)

Responsibilities:

• Develop C libraries to integrate Quant pricing models into Murex FLEX API for equities and derivatives products
• Work collaboratively with the development team following an agile approach using scrum/jira
• Architect performant and resilient components to protect the execution system from external pricing code failures
• Collaborate with strats and quants to facilitate their use of your integration code
• Coordinate with the CICD team to establish devops pipelines for your code, including containerization
• Create additional components for monitoring pricing libraries and integration with future pricing components (Java & Python)

Skills Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in C development
• Familiarity with the scrum agile framework
• Proficiency in JIRA/Confluence
• Experience in building scalable computational distributed services
• Competence in multiplatform enterprise service development and data serialization challenges
• Expertise in developing service wrappers for Python or C libraries
• Capability in building and interfacing with REST APIs, including Enterprise Authorization and Authentication
• Knowledge of Java Messaging Services (Active MQ or similar)
• Experience in Interprocess communication (IPC) like Google protocol buffers
• Experience in implementing a CI/CD process for C applications, including dependency management and deployments to Linux environments (Jenkins, Sonar, Gitlab, etc)

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience with Murex FLEX
• Experience working with Equities and Fixed Income electronic trading market data and pricing
• Familiarity with quantitative and trading teams
• Proficiency in Python

Education: Bachelor's Degree
