Position:


As an Area Sales Executive, your role is to achieve Moët Hennessy India's business objectives & agreed sales budget for your specific territory whilst understanding and embracing the strategic imperatives of Moët Hennessy India in your day to day business.

The core focus in respect of this position is to continue to grow the on premise side of the business across the entire brand portfolio.

Furthermore you are responsible for enhancing Moët Hennessy India's culture and contributing to the overall success of your direct team and that of the entire business.


Sales Objectives

  • Achieve mutually agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the Regional Sales Manager within the assigned Off Trade accounts
  • Achieve mutually agreed points of distribution of MHI brands focusing on visibility and placement
  • Maintain, develop & grow distribution points in all outlets in order to expand MHI business opportunities

Account Management

  • Ensure effective and smooth relationships are maintained with designated account customers in order to optimize operational effectiveness, business performance and goodwill.
  • Ensure excellent relationships with main decisionmakers in the national head offices, state offices, and individual outlets of Off trade Account customers.
  • Ensure the most appropriate coverage of all current and potential accounts, and examine/recommend ways and means of broadening distribution, as well as developing new sales opportunities
  • Make recommendation of changes in prices and trading terms

Competitor Information

  • Monitor competitor activity/dealing/pricing and promotions within territory and provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams

Activation and Promotions

  • Continuous implementation of agreed strategies derived from the Brand Plans.
  • Through carefully and comprehensively formulated sales actions, ensure maximum focus on core brands.
  • Priorities will be in the disciplines of pricing, distribution, trade stock levels, trade merchandising, activations, promotions, and other volumegenerating activities.

Market Trends & Competitor Information

  • Keep MHI updated about best practices, market trends and competitor activity
  • Monitor competitor pricing and promotions
  • Monitor and assess competitors' activities, evaluate market changes and trends, and recommend timely responsive actions for the benefits of the brands amongst all accounts.

Profile:

  • 58 years of commercial account management experience in alcobev sales.
  • Excellent sales skills with proven record of achieving targets
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of liquor consumption trends, habits, and preferences of consumers in India
  • High level of commercial awareness and an instinct for exploiting profit opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Possess a good understanding of people management
  • An ability to work with a disciplined approach to ensure management of people and standards
  • Fluent in English with proficiency of local language(s) will be a plus

Education:
Master's in Business (Sales & Marketing) / Hotel Management Graduate

Language:
Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English
