About the company:

Our Client is an International Recruitment Agency specializing in job placement all over Canada and recruiting foreign workers.

Job Description:

Prepare and cook Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes (noodles and fried rice) or full meals according to standards and on timePlan menus, determine portions, assess food needs and food costs, and order necessary supplies
Inspect kitchens and service areas
Maintain inventory and records of food, items, and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Work with specialized kitchen tools (Chinese wok and sauté pans, deep fryer, steamer, cutting board, knife for cutting vegetables and meats, etc.)

Requirements
Education:
 A high school diploma is required.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience. If the candidate does not have experience, an apprenticeship program equivalent to the diploma of professional studies in cooking (DEP) sanctioning a minimum of 1470 hours of training (a program of at least a year and a half) is required.
We specifically need a cook with knowledge of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai cuisine. Knowledge of cooking with a wok and sauté pans is required.

BenefitsSalary:
$19.00 per hour, 40-48 hours per week.

Benefits: We will provide 3 meals a day free of charge when the employee is working. If a candidate is willing to relocate for the position, the employer covers the transportation costs.

Requirements

Education:
Completion of high school is required

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook is required.

If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required If you have a culinary degree and less than 2 yrs exp that is acceptable.

Experience with fine dining and full-service establishments is OK. Experience and knowledge of Italian cuisine is a strong asset (pasta & pizzas).
