eCommerce Key Account Manager Management & Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce accounts such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Nykaa, and their designated personnel.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, proactively addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve or surpass sales targets and profitability goals.

Product Listing & Optimization:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, logistics) to ensure accurate, optimized, and competitive product listings on assigned ecommerce platforms.
  • Monitor product performance metrics like conversion rates and reviews and implement data-driven strategies to enhance product ranking and visibility.
  • Stay informed about ecommerce platform algorithms and best practices to optimize product listings for maximum exposure.

Sales & Pricing Strategies:

  • Develop and negotiate effective pricing strategies with ecommerce partners, considering market competitiveness and profitability goals.
  • Engage in promotional activities and campaigns to boost sales volume and brand awareness.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to maintain a competitive edge within the ecommerce landscape.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Regularly monitor and analyze sales performance data for assigned ecommerce accounts.
  • Generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Present data insights to stakeholders and recommend data-driven strategies for optimizing ecommerce performance.

Market Knowledge & Industry Trends:

  • Keep updated about the latest trends and innovations within the ecommerce industry.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities for brand growth within ecommerce channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective ecommerce marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce sales or account management.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing relationships with key ecommerce accounts.
  • In-depth understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, and their operational dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ecommerce platform tools (a plus).
