Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in scaling engineering teams, managing complex technical projects, and driving technical Lead and manage the engineering team, including recruiting, mentoring, and developing top engineering talent

  • Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and drive execution
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable software solutions
  • Scale best practices for software development, including microservices, multitenanted, distributed systems, multicloud deployments (AWS/GCP), GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • Familiarity with data security principles, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Comfortable with major languages, frameworks including , Python, Java, and Go, and databases/data lakes including SQL, NoSQL, Snowflake/Athena
  • Also manage frontend development teams for reactbased frameworks
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality through thorough testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering organization

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering)

  • Proven track record of successfully scaling engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, eventbased systems, and multicloud deployments
  • Experience with best practices such as GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and thorough testing methodologies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional leadership and manage technical vendors and agencies
  • Experience in the logistics industry or a related field is a plus
