Position Overview:
The Channel Development Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing our network of channel partners to drive sales and market share.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets.
Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the company's market reach.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners.
Serve as the main point of contact for all matters specific to channel partners.
Collaborate with partners to understand their needs and align them with the company's strategic goals.
Sales Enablement:
Provide training and support to channel partners to ensure they have the knowledge and tools needed to sell the company's products and services effectively.
Develop and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and sales training to partners.Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze channel partner performance metrics to ensure goals are met.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and set future goals.
Implement corrective actions as needed to improve partner performance.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the channel.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team based on market analysis and partner feedback.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align channel activities with overall business objectives.
Ensure channel partners are aligned with the company's brand and messaging.
Program Development:
Develop and manage channel programs, incentives, and promotions to motivate partners and drive sales.
Manage the channel budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
An MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel development, sales, or business development roles.
Proven track record of successfully managing and and growing channel partnerships.
