Manager People and Culture
The Manager People and Culture will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including, Talent Acquisition and Talent Retention, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, strategy, health and safety, and technology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Talent Acquisition and Talent RetentionAssisting in developing job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
Planning and implementing targeted retention programs, identifying the challenges/root-cause by conducting FGDs, polls etc. and addressing retention risks through calibrated approach.
Employee Relations :
Building positive relationships among employees and between employees and management, resolving conflicts promptly and effectively, handling grievances quickly and effectively.
Performance Management :
Hands-on experience in setting and driving clear performance management process aligned with the larger organizational/business imperatives. Driving the goal setting process, annual appraisal process and the quarterly performance reviews.
Training and Development :
Designing and managing the end-to-end L&OD process for the organization, leading the L&OD team and measuring the impact from an organizational standpoint.
Building and creating a "Learning Organization" with a strong culture of learning and development.Compliance and Legal Issues :
Strong understanding of compliance, labor laws and regulations and regular reporting for legal and regulatory purposes.
Compensation and Benefits :
Deep understanding of market trends and best practices within the "Total Rewards" domain. Hands-on experience on salary benchmarking exercise.
HR Analytics and Reporting :
High degree of comfort with designing HR metrics to identify gaps, measure progress, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Employee Health and Safety :
Prioritizing employee health and safety creates a positive work environment and reduces the risk of accidents or injuries. Wellness programs promote employee well-being and productivity.
Technology and Systems :
Exposure in end-to-end HR Automation project from identification and launch phase to internal adoption.
Team Management:
Strong people management capabilities with a hands-on and collaborative management style. Should have led team size of 6-8 people.
Stakeholder Management:
High degree of comfort with handling different stakeholders and strong influencing skills.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in human resources, or related field from a Tier 1 or 2 College. (TISS, XLRI, Symbiosis, Narseemonji, MDI etc.)
10-12 years of experience in HR management or related roles.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced agile work environment and managing multiple priorities.
