ETS Service Engineer – RTU-SCADA

Job Opportunity at Emerson

If you are a professional with expertise in RTU and SCADA systems, Emerson has an exciting position available. We are seeking an RTU-SCADA Service Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry to join our ETS Team. In this role, you will work independently and collaboratively to provide support on both domestic and international sites for various activities such as configuration, testing, commissioning, and more.

  • RTU/SCADA precommissioning, Commissioning, SAT, etc.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and ownership
  • Occasional travel to onshore/offshore sites in India or abroad
  • Contribute to overall engineering quality
  • Ensure high performance across different platforms
  • Develop standard procedures & documentation for repeated use
  • Review deliverables with peers & supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with processes/targets
  • Maintain QMS system for defects, rework, etc.
  • Adhere to cost, quality, and schedule terms

Requirements for the Role:

  • Experience of 3-7 years in SCADA Engineering
  • Proficiency with various RTUs and SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of Emerson OE SCADA and ControlWave RTU is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in programming, Design, Application programming
  • Familiarity with Modbus, OPC, and DNP3 communication
  • Exposure to Radio and Wireless communication
  • Experience in Server Installation, Windows Administration, etc.
  • Field Instrumentation knowledge
  • FAT and SAT experience with clients
  • Skills in Computer applications & communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and concepts
  • Capability in documenting for Project strategy
  • Contribution to engineering team and communication skills
  • Innovative mindset and focus on results
