Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Head of Research and Development to lead our Metal Working Fluids division.

The ideal candidate will spearhead the development of new products and improvements to existing solutions, focusing on performance and sustainability.

This pivotal role calls for a unique mix of technical prowess, leadership acumen, and a drive for innovation in the realm of industrial lubricants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the research and development team to design and create novel metal working fluids.
- Supervise the enhancement of current product lines to boost effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and environmental adherence.
- Work closely with various teams (manufacturing, marketing, sales) to alignR&D endeavors with market demands and corporate objectives.

- Oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to market launch, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project completion.

- Cultivate strategic partnerships with key suppliers, academic institutions, and research entities to remain at the forefront of industry innovations and trends.

- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and quality benchmarks.
- Develop and manage theR&D budget; deliver regular progress reports and innovation updates to senior management.
- Coach and empower team members to nurture a culture of innovation and high performance within the department.

Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Minimum of 10 years' experience in formulating lubricants, particularly in the domain of metal working fluids. Proven expertise in spearheadingR&D projects and teams within a correlated sector. Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking capabilities. Outstanding leadership and communication proficiencies. Thorough comprehension of the regulatory framework impacting the lubricants sector.
