Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to support our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts. You will work closely with finance stakeholders to enhance planning models, automate reporting, and optimize data integration between Adaptive Planning and other systems (Workday HCM/Financials, NetSuite, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain financial models in Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Develop and manage workforce, CAPEX, revenue, and operating expense plans
  • Create dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analysis for business leaders
  • Automate data loads and ensure data accuracy across integrated systems
  • Provide training and documentation for end users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in planning models or integrations
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other teams on FP&A system enhancements

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights)
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Experience in designing complex planning models (workforce, revenue, expense, etc.)
  • Proficient in creating reports and dashboards using OfficeConnect and Adaptive Planning
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM and Financials or ERP integrations
  • Excellent Excel skills; knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., Adaptive Integration Framework, Workday Studio) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems
  • Prior freelance/consulting experience with global teams
  • Adaptive Planning certification (optional but a plus)
