Job Summary:

Adani Wind is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Mechanical Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the wind industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and leading engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

Project Oversight:

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for wind turbines and related infrastructure.

Innovation & Development:

Drive innovation in mechanical engineering processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and performance.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all mechanical engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including electrical engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless project execution.

Mentorship:

Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success.

Qualifications:Education:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience: 22-30 years of experience in the wind industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.

Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of wind turbine mechanics, materials science, and structural analysis.

Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem- Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.

Project Management:

Proven experience in managing large-scale engineering projects from concept to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with advanced simulation and modeling tools.Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
