As a Solutions Engineer 2, you will play a key role in the deployment and integration of ActiveLogic Networks (ALN) solutions into our customers' networks. You will work closely with technical teams and customers to design, implement, and integrate ALN solutions into production environments, ensuring smooth and successful deployment. Your excellent communication skills and technical knowledge will enable you to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, providing exceptional experience for customers. You will also maintain a working knowledge of ALN software and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the growth of the team.

Overview

As a Solutions Engineer 2, you will play a key role in the deployment and integration of ActiveLogic Networks (ALN) solutions into our customers' networks. You will work closely with technical teams and customers to design, implement, and integrate ALN solutions into production environments, ensuring smooth and successful deployment. Your excellent communication skills and technical knowledge will enable you to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, providing exceptional experience for customers. You will also maintain a working knowledge of ALN software and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement and deploy solutions in customer environments.
• Provide input into architecture and design decisions.
• Contribute to technical project milestones, priorities and timelines, including design, development, configuration, ATP and monitoring.
• Conduct system installations, configurations, and deployment testing to ensure customer acceptance.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of all ALN software to support technical support tickets and various customer architectures and project engagements.
• Document lessons learned into the knowledge base and contribute to knowledge sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product management teams to provide feedback on product improvements.
• Manage tight deadlines – work efficiently to manage your time and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Support customer or partner maintenance windows as applicable to active projects.
• Frequent communication with various departments including Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Product Management and Support.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

• Required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to convey technical details in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux systems for configuration and troubleshooting (Ubuntu/ Red Hat).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IP, TCP/IP, and protocols like RADIUS, DNS, Diameter and DHCP.
  • Hands-On programming or scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Hands on with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWare).
  • Familiarity with Docker containers including troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with project delivery.
  • The drive to learn and improve.
    • Desired:
    • Knowledge in cloud and IAAS providers (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, etc).
    • Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML5, REST APIs, etc.).
    • Certifications like CCNA, AWS Associate, or Red Hat Linux.
    • Exposure to Dell hardware and network hardware similar to Cisco or Juniper.
    • Knowledge of telecom protocols and wireless technologies (WiFi, 4G, 5G).
    • Knowledge of 3gpp based solutions including but not limited to Gx, Gy, Gz, Sd and Sy interfaces.
    • Familiarity with network traffic monitoring tools.
    • Familiarity with relational databases including Vertica.
    • ALN product knowledge.

Work Experience, Education and Certifications

• 2–3 years in a technical role, ideally Telco.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
