About the Role – Senior Engineering Manager

We're seeking a hands-on technology leader who can own, architect, and scale our core platform while building and leading a high-performing engineering team.

This is a strategic and execution-focused role — you'll work directly with the founders, have a say in product direction, and ensure our technology can meet enterprise-grade scale and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & Scale: Drive the design, scalability, and performance of backend systems and data infrastructure.
  • Lead & Grow Team: Manage, mentor, and hire engineers; set clear goals and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Execution Ownership: Ensure timely, quality delivery of features and releases.
  • Hands-On Coding: Stay close to the codebase, guiding architecture and reviewing complex modules.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, supply chain experts, and data scientists to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Engineering Excellence: Establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
  • Technology Vision: Evaluate and integrate tools, frameworks, and cloud services to future-proof the stack.

What We're Looking For

  • 7–10 years of full-time software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Deep expertise in Python + SQL with data-heavy applications.
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable, enterprise-grade B2B web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of system design, cloud architecture, and DevOps.
  • Experience in team building — hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
  • Bonus: Experience in SaaS, analytics, or AI-powered products.
