
Regional Sales Head

The Regional Sales Head – will be responsible for driving solar module sales across the region, leading business development efforts, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring revenue growth in alignment with company goals. This role involves domestic client engagement and end-to-end account management.
Key Responsibilities
- - Lead the regional sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- - Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for solar PV modules and related offerings.
- - Own the regional P&L, with a sharp focus on profitability and receivables management.
- Market Development:
- - Identify new market segments, customers, and channel partners across South India.
- - Develop business strategies to enhance market penetration and build brand presence through exhibitions, roadshows, and industry forums.
Key Account Management:
- - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders: EPCs, Developers, Government agencies (CPSUs, DISCOMs), and channel partners.
- - Manage large utility-scale and rooftop project sales including tender participation, techno-commercial proposals, and price negotiations.
Team Management:
- - Mentor and guide regional team members; conduct performance reviews and capability-building initiatives.
- - Foster a high-performance culture with clear goal-setting, reporting, and accountability.
- Contract & Operations Coordination:
- - Oversee contract finalization, delivery schedules, and post-sale services in coordination with supply chain and service teams.
- - Ensure timely collections and resolve customer issues effectively.
Essential Skills -
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably EEE) with a PGDM/MBA in Marketing or related field.
- 12+ years of proven track record in B2B solar module sales and business development.
- Strong exposure to South Indian solar markets and familiarity with government schemes (e.g., CPSU, KUSUM, DISCOMs).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Experience in handling international accounts and export procedures is an added advantage.
- Familiar with CRM tools, MIS reporting, and market research.
