This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned chef with international experience to shape the restaurant’s concept, design an innovative menu, and lead a high-performance kitchen team from pre-opening through launch and ongoing service.As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating a modern, globally inspired fine-dining experience that draws from European, Pan-Asian, Mediterranean, Latin American, and other world cuisines.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop a refined, globally inspired fine-dining menuLead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishesRecruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaborationOversee kitchen layout, equipment planning, sourcing, and all aspects of pre-opening strategyCollaborate with procurement to source the best ingredients while maintaining food cost targetsMaintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitationStay updated on global culinary trends, techniques, and innovations to continuously evolve the menuWork with front-of-house and management to ensure seamless kitchen-dining room coordinationRequired Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of experience in upscale/fine-dining kitchensDemonstrated expertise across multiple international cuisinesStrong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skillsExperience with restaurant pre-openings is preferredExcellent knowledge of kitchen operations, budgeting, inventory control, and vendor managementPassion for culinary innovation, attention to detail, and a high standard of executionBased in or willing to relocate to BangalorePreferred Qualifications:Culinary degree or formal training from a recognized institutionExperience working in acclaimed restaurantsFamiliarity with modern plating, molecular gastronomy, and sustainability practicesWhat We Offer:Best in Industry compensationThe chance to lead and shape a restaurant from the ground upCreative freedom to craft a globally recognized culinary experienceCompetitive compensation packageOpportunity to be part of Bangalore’s growing fine-dining movement
