Join the Culinary team at one of the most prestigious Luxury Hotels in New Delhi , which is also a successful Food & Beverage destination. The Hotel is part of an internationally renowned hotel chain. We are looking for a talented and passionate Expat Italian Chef to lead the Italian / Mediterranean cuisine offerings .
Responsibilities:
As an Expat Italian Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Culinary Expertise: Showcasing your deep understanding of Italian cuisine, ensuring authentic flavors and exceptional quality in every dish.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with our culinary team to maintain high standards and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Guest Satisfaction: Understanding and exceeding guest preferences, providing memorable dining experiences, and handling special requests with finesse.
- Creativity: Bringing your creative flair to the kitchen, introducing innovative dishes, and keeping the menu fresh and exciting.
- Buffet Variety: Crafting a diverse and appealing selection of buffets for periodic events, ensuring they align with our guests' expectations and dietary preferences.
- Reporting: Preparing reports on kitchen performance and working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain and improve standards.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Proven experience as an Italian Chef in Five Star/Luxury Hotels or high-end stand alone Restaurants.
- Existing or past experience as Italian Chef with reputed Hotels in Indian sub continent, Middle East, Maldives would be useful
- Experience managing a Buffet Restaurant is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and its regional variations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Exceptional creativity and a passion for creating unique culinary experiences.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate to New Delhi, India.
