About You:You are already an established Creative Director, who can work closely with colleagues in the Strategy and Business teams to generate and execute creative ideas and campaigns. Your work covers a variety of digital media and brandingYou are a team player who shares ideas for the greater good. You are not an island. You're hands-on when the agency is up against it – and willing to jump in when other members of the team need you. You know how to identify and nurture great concepts from your team, while still coming up with a few of your ownYou craft lines that make us say, "Damn, I wish I wrote that."What you'll do:1. IDEATION AND THINKINGYou will be a strong conceptual thinker that knows how to get to the heart of a creative challenge and build compelling brand storiesYou have experience leading and managing others in the creative process from Ideation through to productionYou think strategically and demonstrate a keen awareness of both online and offline trends2. CampaignsDevelop and deliver pitches, that impress clients, and successfully bring to life the proposed campaignWork with clients to amend ideas based on their wishes, knowing how to communicate what is and isn't possible in order to achieve the intended results.You will be a confident communicator with good presentation and negotiation skills that ensure your team's ideas get buy-in from both internal and client audiences3. LEADERSHIP AND ORGANISATIONALYou are comfortable leading a small team of creatives across multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlinesYou are a strong mentor who can use your experience to develop and grow those in your teamYou will be able to balance being both hands on when required, working as part of a creative team, while overseeing other projects in a core directional capacityGrowing and managing a small team of creative specialists to deliver creative work, supporting and mentoring team members to ensure ongoing developmentSupporting the Client and Innovations Director and Digital Director on strategic creative projectsTaking responsibility for all creative aspects of our own Agency's brand, building the perception of creative strategy4. Market Impact & RecognitionDesign and execute a strategy that will result in Born Hi Digital's work being recognised, admired and respected by the industry, clients (existing and prospective), and talent (existing and prospective)Actively submit work that wins awards and/or receives international recognition for the aboveWhat we're looking for:Minimum 15 years' experience writing in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to think beyond the campaign and help develop and drive creative marketing solutions (platforms) for client brands, with anemphasis on digital media.Demonstrated experience working on a wide range of accounts andcategoriesSees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can help create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans. Can connect strategies to creative solutionsSets and maintains high standards commensurate with the company's creative expectationsAbility to think in abstract terms; can make connections between unrelated notions; can formulate innovative ideas where others cannot; seen as original and value-added in brainstorming sessionsWorks beyond what is described in job description as needed. Willing to be flexible for the team, and ultimately the work.
