Agriculture FPO Market Linkage Manager – Sales & Operations

Location: Gwalior RO (Base: Dabra) – Travel across MP & Himachal as required

About the Role

SRAPCL is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Market Linkage Manager – Sales & Operations to lead our FPO market linkage vertical, connecting farmers to institutional buyers, processors, exporters, and wholesale markets.

The role involves end-to-end responsibility for sales execution, buyer development, trading operations, and ensuring farmers receive the best market rates for their produce. You will work across multiple commodities, leveraging SRAPCL's FPO network, Kisan Mall infrastructure, and agri-tech platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Market Linkage Development

  • Identify and onboard bulk buyers, processors, exporters, and institutional off-takers
  • Develop sustainable sales channels for multiple crops and agri-produce
  • Build partnerships with government agencies, private companies, and cooperatives

Sales & Trading Operations

  • Negotiate pricing, volumes, and contracts for bulk commodity sales
  • Oversee aggregation, grading, quality checks, and dispatch processes
  • Monitor commodity prices and market trends to optimize farmer returns

FPO & Farmer Engagement

  • Work closely with FPO leaders and farmer groups to plan marketable volumes
  • Train FPO staff on quality, grading, and buyer requirements
  • Facilitate documentation, invoicing, and payment collection

Logistics & Supply Chain

  • Coordinate with transporters and warehouses for timely deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and contractual obligations
  • Optimize cost structures in aggregation, storage, and transport

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • MBA – Agribusiness / BSc – Agriculture / PG in Rural Management
  • 4–6 years' experience in agri-commodity sales, market linkage, or agri-trading
  • Experience with FPO operations and farmer engagement preferred
  • Strong network of agri-buyers in domestic and/or export markets

Language Requirements

  • Mandatory: Fluent in Hindi and English
  • Preferred: Bundelkhandi or Himachali dialects

Location Requirement

  • Base in Dabra (Gwalior RO) with frequent travel to MP & Himachal Pradesh project sites
