Agri Assistant Manager – Procurement & Sales

Location: Gwalior RO (Base: Dabra)

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000/month + Incentives

About the Role

SRAPCL is seeking a dynamic and field-driven Agri Assistant Manager – Procurement & Sales to join our Agri-Tech powered FPO operations. The role will focus on agri-input procurement, vendor management, retail sales, and market linkage development—leveraging technology to improve farmer access to quality inputs and profitable markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agri-Input Procurement – Source seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other inputs from reputed suppliers
  • Demand Fulfilment – Ensure timely procurement and supply based on sales team requirements
  • Vendor & Distributor Management – Maintain strong relationships with input companies, wholesalers, and retailers
  • Stock & Inventory Planning – Track inventory levels, demand patterns, and coordinate with warehouses/retail outlets
  • Retail Sales Enablement – Support Kisan Mall rural retail sales through schemes, bundles, and seasonal promotions
  • Bulk Trading & Market Linkages – Identify and connect with bulk buyers, institutional off-takers, and export partners
  • Agri-Tech Integration – Use SRAPCL's technology-driven tools to improve procurement efficiency and farmer outreach

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • MBA – Agribusiness / BSc – Agriculture
  • 2–3 years' experience in agri-input procurement, sales, or trading (Seeds, Agrochemicals, Fertilizers)
  • Strong knowledge of local crop patterns and agri-input company networks
  • Comfortable with field operations, vendor meetings, and rural market travel

Language Requirements

  • Mandatory: Fluent in Hindi and English
  • Preferred: Bundelkhandi or other local dialects

Location Requirement

  • Must be ready to be based full-time in Dabra (Gwalior RO)
  • Frequent field visits to villages, retailers, and FPO member locations
